The firm is a collaboration of two of the most respected names in the Sheriff Officer profession; Andrew Fraser and Alex Irvine. Andrew was a founder partner in Fraser Gowrie Johnston Sheriff Officers and Alex was the Joint Head of Enforcement Administration at Scott & Co Sheriff Officers. Both partners have a strong background in delivering excellent customer service in a highly competitive environment.
They are also heavily involved in the designated professional body for Officers of Court The Society of Messengers-at-Arms & Sheriff Officers and actively promote the development of the profession. Alex is currently the President of SMASO and Andrew is a member of the Executive Council.
Andrew has nearly 30 years experience in the profession. He is a member of the Executive Council of the Society of Messengers-at-Arms and sits on several sub-committees dealing with Legislation and Civil Court Rules. After beginning his career at George Walker & Co. and John Campbell Sheriff Officers, he went on to found Fraser Gowrie Johnston Sheriff Officers.
Alex has over 25 years experience in the profession and is currently President of the Society of Messengers-at-Arms & Sheriff Officers. He was a Judge at the 2017 Scottish Legal Awards and is a well known speaker on the subject of Diligence having spoken at the IRRV, ICAS , Scottish Paralegal Association, Scottish Young Lawyers Association conferences. He is a member of AiB's DISSF Group and the Committee of Examiners. Joining Gray Scott & Co straight from school he quickly rose through the ranks and was latterly Joint Head of Enforcement Administration at Scott & Co.
