Andrew Fraser elected SMASO Vice-President

We are very pleased to announce one of our Partners Andrew Fraser was elected to the position of Vice-President of our professional body the Society of Messengers-at-Arms and Sheriff Officers at the Society's Annual General Meeting on the 1st December 2018.

After spending a number of years on the Society's Executive Council Andrew was thrilled to be elected as an office bearer.  He said "the Society plays a major part in setting and maintaining the standards of our profession. It is a privilege to be elected as Vice-Present and I am delighted to be asked to contribute in this role".

At Fraser Irvine, supporting and contributing to our profession is extremely important to us.  After serving two terms, outgoing SMASO President, our own Alex Irvine, was delighted at Andrew's election, " it's been a real privilege for me to have served as President and I am sure Andrew will make a fantastic contribution as an office bearer just as he did as a member of the Executive Council.

The Society of Messengers-at-Arms & Sheriff Officers is the professional body of Sheriff Officers and is responsible for the professions Code of Practice.  All Sheriff Officers must be members of SMASO
